MAEMIS 8v6 is now available!

MAEMIS 8v6, the updated version of the Maine Adult Education software for 2010, is now available for download.

The Department of Education requires this update for all Adult Education sites. Some important changes to reporting requirements are introduced this year, and MAEMIS 8v6 is equipped to migrate your existing data and to allow you to manage your information going forward.

If you are an experienced MAEMIS user, you already know that the upgrade process starts and ends with a single click. Additional upgrades of the ReportNRS and ReportCT modules are due out later this year. Upgrading those modules is even simpler for users -- just drop them into your MAEMIS folder and you're done.

On August 18, 2009, MAEMIS 8v6 was released for public testing. All sites Statewide adoption is expected to be complete by January 2010. Data Pro North East, Inc. is the sole developer of the MAEMIS software.

MAEMIS is compatible with FileMaker Pro versions 8 through 10 (current version). It will not work with FMP version 7 or earlier.

Maine’s Department of Education provides the MAEMIS data management system at no cost to adult education sites statewide. With this powerful system, keep track of student demographics, registrations and payments, courses and instructors, participation and outcomes. The system also automates integration with the MAEA portal, state and federal reporting in numerous programs, and many local reports. Abundant in-context help is available where and when you need it.

The current version of MAEMIS is available to authorized users for download. Login is required. Documentation and help files are also available.
